We also asked people what Stan Lee meant to them. Here are some of the greatest hits.

The man was a genius of the imagination and human condition.

His ability to entertain adults as well as children. Also loved to see him in his comic-turned-movies. Always looked for him.

He create super heroes unlike the normal ones back in his days. He made them totally different from DC and they were sometimes mutant. He set the stage for things to come in the movies too, and no one will come close to his creativity.

His open mind, and willingness to accept everyone for who they are - flaws and all.

I will remember how passionate he was about his craft and how much he contributed to the world of comics.

You will be missed by so many. RIP.
